There are several varieties of sunfish in the lakes.  It seems that the most common is the Bluegill.  There are also Pumpkinseeds and Blackbanded sunfishes.

These are small fish, usually less than 8 inches long.  They are great for little kids to try to catch, with the tried and true worm on a hook, with a bobber.  This is not always easy, however... these fish are smart!

Mimosa Lakes are privately owned.  Lake Privileges are reserved exclusively for members in good standing of the Mimosa Lakes Homeowner's Association.  Trespassers will be prosecuted.
